My Lips But Better: Revlon Rosey Nude and more

I’ve been on the search for a “natural” colored lipstick for daily wear and put on without a mirror.  I usually love red or purple lipstick, but I’ve decided to start going for a more “mature” look, I guess since I’ve been job searching.

I knew there were a lot of MAC lipsticks that were suggested so I did an internet dupe search and found a couple.  I’m of a nude complexion; I appear tan all year because of my skin tone, but I would say I’m light-medium.  Here’s some foundations for reference:

MAC MSF Natural Medium Dark: This is a touch too dark for me, but the medium light is far too light for me so I’m somewhere in between there.

L’Oreal True Match Lumi N3 Natural Buff: For a neutral color I feel like this is very warm toned, but it matches darn near perfect.  I wouldn’t get a warm color even though I’m warm toned.

Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation 250 Natural Beige: I could almost go a shade up in this and I might in the future if I need to.

The lipstick I’ve found that is MLBB is Revlon Colorburst Lipstick Rosey Nude! I found them on Amazon though.  It’s a little bit darker than my lips, but I’m OK with that.  I also went into my CVS and these lipsticks were 75 percent off!  So I bought two more as back ups.  I think some of these may be discontinued soon, so go look in stores ASAP.  I’ve tried the Nicely Nude shade and it’s far too light for me. The other lipstick I found is Rimmel Lasting Finish from the Kate Collection in 08. This is a little lighter and closer to my lips, but I like the Revlon finish better.

I hope this helps out someone looking for a bargain and basic lipsticks.
